Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data CopyClimb (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. By using CopyClimb you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

  • Account: your email address and a hashed (never plain-text) password.
  • Site setup: your site name, URL, brand-voice profile, seed topics, and the publishing credentials you connect (e.g. GitHub token, WordPress application password, Shopify token). These credentials are encrypted at rest.
  • Content: the article drafts we generate for you and their status.
  • WhatsApp number (optional), if you enable approve-from-WhatsApp.
  • Search Console data (optional), if you connect Google Search Console — clicks, impressions, position and query data for your properties.
  • Billing data handled by our payment processor (we don't store full card details).

2. How we use it

To provide the Service — research keywords, generate and publish articles, send transactional email (e.g. password resets, draft notifications), process subscriptions, show your rankings, and provide support and security.

3. Service providers we share data with

We use trusted subprocessors to operate the Service. We share only what's needed:

  • Anthropic — AI article and brand-voice generation.
  • Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
  • Resend — transactional email.
  • Replicate — hero image generation.
  • Google Search Console API — rankings (only if you connect it).
  • Your chosen publishing platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, Webflow, Next.js/GitHub, or your webhook) — to publish your approved articles.
  • Vercel (hosting) and Turso (database).

4. Security

Passwords are hashed; publishing credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256. We use HTTPS throughout. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data by contacting us; we may retain limited records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. billing records).

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. You can disconnect a site or remove your WhatsApp number / Search Console connection at any time from your dashboard.

7. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

CopyClimb is not intended for anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are reflected in the “last updated” date.
